Sparks Community Award ✨

Got an idea that could help people in your community feel more connected? Wokingham Borough Council's new Sparks Community Award offers grants of £100 to £2,000 to make it happen.

Whether it's community cooking classes, accessible activities, neighbourhood support networks, or something completely new - if your idea helps adults who may need extra support due to disability, health conditions or caring responsibilities to live well and take part in community life, applications are open.

The application process is straightforward, and funding decisions are made by a panel of local residents. Applications are reviewed quarterly throughout the year.

Never applied for funding before? Perfect - first-time applicants and grassroots groups are exactly who this fund is designed for. Established organisations exploring new collaborations are welcome too. And here's the best bit: we can help you with your application, so you don't have to figure it out alone.
