Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service is currently running a consultation on four proposed objectives that will help guide the way we provide our services to communities across the county and best support our staff.

The four proposed Equality Objectives outline ways in which we aim to provide a more accessible service, retain talent and promote opportunities across the fire and rescue sector.

We are setting Equality Objectives to ensure that we can provide a more focussed, accessible and effective service to all communities across Berkshire in line with our statutory requirements.

As representatives of one of the communities that we serve, we would greatly appreciate your feedback on the proposed objectives. Ultimately, all the feedback we get will help us to create a more effective fire and rescue service.

If you’d like to take part, please visit our website for more information. Alternatively, if you have any questions, please let us know and we’d be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Christian Riley
